The Prince of Wales and his wife Princess Kate stole the show during a visit to Powys, Wales this week, delighting the local community with their down-to-earth presence.

One particular moment that has melted fans’ hearts came when Prince William was gifted a hand-drawn daffodil by a little girl, prompting the father-of-three to go into full-on dad mode.
The touching incident, which you can watch in the video above, saw the youngster bashfully approaching the royal to present him with her picture ahead of St David’s Day, the annual celebration of Welsh culture.
Speaking in a low voice, William is seen thanking her and sweetly displaying his “gentle” parenting techniques to put her at ease, before turning his attention to another little boy and placing a reassuring hand on his arm
Body language expert and astrologer Inbaal Honigman previously offered HELLO! an insight into William’s parenting techniques based on his star sign, describing the royal as “loving and caring”.
“Prince William is a gentle Cancerian, which means he is loving and caring. Cancerians are family-minded, devoted and emotional. They enjoy simple pleasures such as eating dinner with their loved ones or holding hands. A Cancer is romantic and intuitive,” Inbaal said.
Special visit to Wales
The Prince and Princess of Wales’ royal engagement began with a visit to the town of Llanidloes, where they visited the Hanging Gardens community centre, before heading to the Oriel Davies, a public contemporary art gallery in Newtown.

The Prince of Wales proved a hit with the local community
The visit continued by meeting a group of people learning the Welsh language, before culminating at the cultural hub of Hafan yr Afon.
The outing no doubt held a special place in William’s heart since the royal has been learning key phrases in the language since becoming the Prince of Wales four years ago.
