Prince Harry ‘mocks’ Donald Trump yet again during under-the-radar appearance
This was just 48 hours after the Duke’s joke on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
Prince Harry appears to have mocked Donald Trump once again during his latest appearance. The Duke of Sussex joked about one of the US president’s policies just 48 hours after his witty remarks on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
Harry made an appearance at the British American Business Council in Santa Monica on Friday. He addressed the organisation’s 65th anniversary lunch in a speech, on the same day that President Trump attended the 2026 World Cup draw in Washington DC. During his appearance on stage, the 41-year-old referenced the fact that both England and Scotland have qualified for next year’s tournament, which will be staged in the US, Canada and Mexico.
He said: “Next year, I know we are looking forward to welcoming more Brits from across the pond.”
Gaining a laugh from the audience, he then added: “Provided they behave, and if they make it through customs, and past ICE. The British are coming, hungry for victory and they’re thirsty.”
The joke emerged as it was reported that the royal had scored a bombshell victory in his long-running battle over his UK security arrangements.
The former working royal previously said that he felt it was unsafe for his wife, Meghan Markle, and their children, Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four, to visit his home country.

Whilst Harry has visited on numerous occasions – with his last visit taking place back in September – Meghan and their children have not set foot in the UK since 2022.
According to a new YouGov poll, many Britons feel that Harry is entitled to police protection in the UK, despite him now living in the US.
Harry was said to have previously been furious when the Royal and VIP Executive Committee (RAVEC) removed his security arrangements in 2020 after he stepped down as a senior working royal.
