eghan Markle’s fashion while on a two-day trip to Jordan with Prince Harry has been focused on wardrobe basics (think: t-shirts, button downs, loafers) in neutral colors (khaki, black, white). But today, the Duchess of Sussex opted for more of a statement piece, stepping out in a high-neck wool-blend coat from Zara.

The jacket, which retails for just $169 (and is still in stock), features contrasting topstitching detail on the seams, and an off-center button.

In her Netflix lifestyle series With Love, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex spoke about her approach to fashion. “Your fashion is one of my favorite things,” Mindy Kaling told Meghan in the second episode of season one. “Sometimes I will look like where’s that coat from, go to Max Mara dot com, and it’s already sold out. Can you tell me about your clothes?” Meghan replies that she likes “high-low” dressing, pointing towards how she likes mixing Zara with high fashion.
That approach was clearly on display while she visited Jordan today; she paired the Zara jacket today with pumps from Chanel. Meghan has worn clothes from Zara on other high profile engagements, including at the Invictus Games in 2023.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s trip to Jordan has already concluded. While brief, the purpose was to “witness how the country stands tall as a regional hub for humanitarian and moral leadership — from its partnership with the World Health Organization to its frontline role in the medical response to the crisis in Gaza,” according to Sussex.com.
The release added, “The challenges facing Jordan and the wider region are immense, but so too is the leadership, ingenuity, and humanity of those working on the frontlines. Archewell remains committed to supporting partners who centre care, dignity, and long-term recovery – and to advocating for a global response that meets this moment with compassion, courage, and action.”
