Meghan Markle dusted off a familiar dress for her latest Instagram post to tease the launch of a new As Ever jam arriving today.

In a striking black and white image, the Duchess of Sussex, 44, can be seen in a strapless Roland Mouret dress that she first wore in 2018.
‘Tomorrow, we revisit something sweet. One flavor worth the wait. Another worth returning for,’ the caption reads, referencing her bestselling preserves. ‘Sign up so you don’t miss it.’
Fuelling speculation about the new jam flavour, the six-slide Instagram post also featured artfully styled images of strawberries, raspberries and chocolate, arranged alongside champagne flutes and a bouquet of roses.
The textured navy dress made its debut when Meghan and Prince Harry attended the 2018 Royal Foundation Dinner at Kensington Palace, while they were still working royals.
At the time, Meghan was pregnant with son Archie and Roland Mouret’s Aldrich design – priced at £1,718 – appeared to have been customised with a fuller skirt.
Back then, she completed the look with dazzling Birks Snowflake jacket earrings, court heels and a clutch, wearing her raven hair in her signature chignon.
Fast forward to today, and Meghan has given the frock a distinctly California update, pairing it with £255 Doen slingback flats and oversized sunglasses for a more relaxed finish.

While Meghan has previously suggested that royal rules limited her ability to wear colour, her post-palace style has remained anchored in a largely neutral palette.
Cream, black, navy and soft earth tones continue to dominate her wardrobe. The shift, however, has been less about colour and more about silhouette.
Since stepping back from royal duties, she has embraced leg-baring shorts, plunging necklines and body-skimming dresses – choices that would have raised eyebrows during traditional royal engagements but now reflect her laid-back California lifestyle.
The Duchess is no stranger to luxury labels. She regularly turns to fashion powerhouses, including Carolina Herrera, Ralph Lauren and Erdem, building a wardrobe that balances polish with modern ease.
Her jewellery collection is equally covetable, anchored by a selection of Cartier classics – notably the Tank Française watch, Love bangle and Juste Un Clou necklace – pieces she wears repeatedly.

Like her sister-in-law, the Princess of Wales, Meghan has also leaned into outfit rewears in recent years, quietly championing a more sustainable approach to fashion.
One of her most notable examples dates back to her 2018 royal tour of Australia, when she arrived in a Givenchy coat while carrying official binders – an appearance that came just hours before she and Prince Harry announced they were expecting their first child.
Years later, in 2025, the same coat resurfaced at a Vancouver Canucks game, offering a welcome throwback.
Elsewhere, Meghan has repeatedly returned to trusted favourites. An olive green Dôen sweater worn during the 2025 Invictus Games made a second appearance in her Netflix series, while a reversible Hermès puffer jacket was spotted at engagements in Whistler in 2024 and Vancouver in 2025.
Even her more casual staples have stood the test of time, including a J.Crew linen shirt worn on the back cover of Together, her Hubb Community Kitchen cookbook, and later reappearing in With Love, Meghan.
Meghan’s fashion evolution is less about abandoning her royal past and more about reframing it – often with designer jewels and a pair of flat shoes.
Her wardrobe now blends her past and present: polished, purposeful and unmistakably her own.
