Kensington Palace is holding back on a major announcement as Princess Kate expressed her fears about an important issue.
The Prince and Princess of Wales have been contemplating for months over a key decision about their eldest son, Prince George. The young prince, who marked his 12th birthday in June, is now facing a stricter royal protocol as per tradition.
As George is slowly being made accustomed to royal engagements, there is a crucial turning point in his life that awaits him next year. He will be starting new school after his 13th birthday, William and Kate have been delaying the announcement until the “11th hour”.
The Wales family moved into their ‘forever home’ Forest Lodge earlier this month and Princess Kate is reportedly gripped by a new anxiety about her eldest son, according to Managing Editor of The Good Schools Guide, Melanie Sanderson.

She explained to Hello! that William and Kate “will announce Prince George’s secondary school at the eleventh hour, possibly as late as September 2026”.
“They understand that the school itself, as well as George’s new peer group, will fall under intense scrutiny as soon as it is revealed and will probably want to minimise this,” she added.
Melanie noted that this delay would allow George an easier transition to his new school and with “as little fanfare as possible”.
According to reports, the decision has already been made and George has been allocated a house at Eton College with the help of the school’s latest provost.
Former corresponded Jennie Bond remarked that Kate continues to worry for her children even though she has a big Christmas event to set up. Like every mother, she is feeling anxiousness of her son going off to boarding school soon and has fears about how he will handle himself on his own.
Although, until that happens, Kate is hoping to keep the big news under wraps to avoid to stave off as much scrutiny as possible.
