Dear UK,
Meghan Markle is reportedly keen to return this summer, ready to showcase her now infamous baby mama dance routine.
Courtesy is traditionally extended where goodwill exists. Any return to the UK should therefore be met with a welcome that reflects exactly how they have chosen to treat the country and its people.
This is the same couple who spent years showering the people of the UK and the Royal Family with allegations, insinuations, and character assassination, all monetised, all amplified, and all carefully timed for maximum impact. Institutions were smeared. Reputations were dragged. A nation was portrayed to the world as cruel, cold, and racist for global consumption.
If any return happens, subject to security considerations, the only proportionate welcome would be one grounded in truth and reflective of the reality they themselves created. Polite distance. Zero fanfare. A quiet but unmistakable reminder that actions, interviews, and self serving tell-all narratives have very long memories.
The UK is not a redemption tour backdrop.
We have all seen the movie.
There is no appetite for a sequel.
