At the Emmy Awards at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles this evening, Meghan Markle will not be in attendance among the guests. Though her Netflix lifestyle series With Love, Meghan is nominated for an Emmy, it will compete at the Daytime Emmys, not tonight’s Primetime Emmys.

“A huge congratulations to the amazing crew, producers, and team who worked on With Love, Meghan on @netflix,” she posted on Instagram after the news in July. “We are nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Lifestyle Series!” With Love, Meghan is competing against Different Breed, George to the Rescue, The Motherhood, and The Wizard of Paws; the winner will be announced at the Daytime Emmy ceremony on Friday, October 30. It’s unclear whether or not Meghan will attend the Daytime Emmys.
The Sussexes recently moved back to the UKafter spending six years in the United States. Over the weekend, Meghan shared a glimpse into her family’s new life in the British countryside, posting a series of clips of her children exploring the outdoors, including biking and fishing.
A representative for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex described their move as short-term to the New York Times. “On the heels of a wonderful trip with family and friends this summer, Harry and Meghan have decided to spend an extended period in the U.K. this autumn,” the representative said in a statement. “They are excited to have their children spend more time in the country that’s such an important part of their family’s story.”
While in the UK, Meghan is rumored to make a return to acting, possibly in season three of The Gentlemen. Star Theo James, however, told T&C that the rumors were “a lot of hot air.” He added, “At the moment, we’re just trying to get as many eyes on season two, and then season three will happen soon. But in terms of story, we have the overarching ambition of where we’re going to go. We’re going to expand the world, go to different countries. But in terms of the minutiae, I mean, it’s still very much up in the air.”
